Stanley
Park is located at the northwestern tip of Vancouver, British Columbia,
Canada, stretching out from the downtown core and tipped by the
Lion's Gate Bridge to the North Shore. Stanley Park, established
in 1888 as Vancouver's first natural reserve, is an evergreen oasis
of 1,000 acres and is the third largest such urban park in North
America. Drawing an average of 8 million visitors per year, it is
Vancouver's most popular attraction. The park is less than a mile
from downtown, yet its tranquil backdrop of majestic cedar, hemlock
and impressively large fir trees offers refuge from the hustle and
bustle of Vancouver.

at a brisk pace, more if you stop to admire the view. The major
